Princeton Icons

This past July I was contracted by Princeton University to design 50 icons to go along with online instructions dedicated to helping professors make the transition to teaching online.

Challenge: Create illustrations that properly represent specific terms.

Goals: Create a fun and playful illustrations that allow educators to quickly find the answers to problems they are having.

Illustration Process

Each Icon starts with a sketch then I move to adobe illustrator to convert them to clean shapes and add in color.

Colors

When I was illustrating the icons the color scheme was not finalized so I made the icons in greyscale consisting of four shades. This allowed the icons to quickly change to whatever colors the clients chose.
