Drawing has always
been my first love.

Before I knew what a designer was, I was already making things. In fourth grade I wrote, illustrated, and self-published my own newspaper. I drew comics. I filled sketchbooks. Drawing wasn't something I decided to do — it was just what I did.

Years later, illustration came with me into design, and it's never left. It shows up in campaign work, character design, brand systems, and print — wherever there's room for something handmade. I'm genuinely lucky it's become something people seek out. Not every designer draws. I always have.
