Kestra Medical Technologies
As the lead and sole in-house designer at Kestra, I create marketing materials across print and digital to support teams company-wide. I developed new packaging and instructions for our flagship product, improving the customer experience, and established brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency. I also lead design for major initiatives like product launches, national events, and internal campaigns—delivering strategic, on-brand creative that drives engagement and clarity.
ASSURE WCD Packaging
Right now, the packaging isn’t recyclable, doesn’t make it obvious that the device is a rental, and doesn’t do much to encourage people to send it back. This leads to more waste, customer confusion, and lower return rates—hurting both sustainability goals and efficiency.
Solution
Inspiration
Dielines &
Print-Ready Files
Once the concept was locked in, I built out detailed dielines and got the files print-ready so production would go smoothly. That meant dialing in exact measurements, adding bleed and trim marks, managing colors, and clearly labeling everything for the vendor—making sure the final product looked exactly as intended and stayed true to the brand.
Final Results
The result was a packaging system that’s bold, functional, and unmistakably ASSURE. From the striking heart logomark to the clean garment illustrations and easy-to-follow return instructions, every detail works together to make the product feel approachable, trustworthy, and on-brand—while also streamlining the experience for patients and vendors alike.
Problem
Redesign the packaging using recyclable materials, making it more eco-friendly from the start. Clearly call out that the device is a rental with bold, easy-to-spot messaging. Include simple, illustrated return instructions to guide customers through the process and boost return rates—helping the environment, reducing waste, and keeping devices in circulation.
I drew inspiration from bold, minimal packaging that uses oversized graphics to command attention. I wanted to use the ASSURE heart logomark as the focal point, pairing it with clean typography to create a modern, approachable, and instantly recognizable design.
Initial Concepts
I created fully recyclable cardboard packaging paired with concise, user-friendly instructions. Integrated prominent “Rental Device – Please Return” messaging throughout the packaging and materials. Designed step-by-step visuals to guide customers through the return process, improving clarity, compliance, and overall sustainability..
I designed three initial packaging concepts that placed the ASSURE heart logomark at the forefront of the visual system, reinforcing brand recognition. Developed detailed, custom illustrations of the WCD garment to provide clarity, enhance product storytelling, and create a cohesive, premium look across all design variations.
Illustrated
Instructions
The final step was designing illustrated return instructions to make the process simple and stress-free for patients. I created clear, step-by-step visuals that cut down on confusion, improve compliance, and help patients return their devices quickly and confidently—without having to wade through a lot of text.
Chosen Concept
This concept was chosen because it really stood out for its bold brand presence, balanced layout, and strong visual impact. As a team, we felt the colors, composition, and use of brand elements made it the most recognizable and the best fit to refine further.
National Sales Meeting
I led the design and execution of all visuals for the National Sales Meeting, from theme development to on-site collateral. This included presentation templates, signage, swag, and event branding. I worked closely with marketing, leadership, and vendors to ensure brand consistency and provided live design support during the event. My work helped create a polished, engaging experience that energized the team and reinforced key business goals.
Conference
Booth Design
I led the design of Kestra’s conference booth experience, creating a visually compelling space that reflected our brand and attracted engagement. This included large-format graphics, messaging, product visuals, and supporting collateral. I collaborated with the field team to ensure the booth aligned with strategic goals and delivered a cohesive, high-impact presence on the show floor.
Icon Library
I created a custom Kestra-branded icon library to bring more consistency and clarity to our visual communication across presentations, packaging, and internal materials. The library includes a wide range of scalable, easy-to-use icons designed to align with our brand guidelines and visual style. It’s become a go-to resource for the team, streamlining design requests and ensuring a more cohesive look across all touchpoints.
