Student Activities

I was one of two designers on the Marketing team for the George Fox University Student Activities team. Working closely with my fellow designer, we collaborated on various projects to promote the university's student events through our designs. Our responsibilities ranged from crafting eye-catching posters and informative handouts to engaging social media posts, all aimed at showcasing the fun and exciting activities available for students at George Fox.

Vector Artwork

The next step involves transferring the preliminary sketch into Adobe Illustrator, where it will be refined and transformed into the ultimate vector illustration.

Early Sketch

An initial sketch is the first step in the illustration process. It’s a rough sketch to decide the main ideas, mood, and placement.

Illustration

An illustration focused poster is the first and most important part of advertising for each event. There are several steps that go into the illustration process.

Color Palette

Once the layout is finalized the last step in the event design involves carefully selecting the perfect color palette to ensure a visually appealing and cohesive aesthetic for the event. Each shade is thoughtfully chosen to captivate attention while seamlessly complementing the event's theme and decor.

Marketing Material

After the event poster is completed, a diverse range of marketing materials is designed with careful consideration to effectively promote the event.

2019-2020 Events

Over the course of the academic year, there were a total of eight events that I was responsible for designing promotional material for. Each event presented a unique opportunity to showcase my creativity and design skills, ensuring that the materials effectively captured the essence and purpose of the event.
